Welcome to Epic Days! During school holidays, GAS is offering an opportunity for young people of all abilities to come together to experience epic adventures outdoors. Ranging from the Bellarine to The Great Ocean Road, Epic Days will involve young people getting outside and having fun participating in mountain biking, bushwalking, kayaking, swimming and fishing. GAS will foster an inclusive and comfortable environment perfect for developing new friendships and creating memorable, positive experiences. Our qualified outdoor educators and support staff will ensure a fun, supportive and safe culture amongst all participants willing to be a part of the community.
Epic Days (age 11-13)
| Thursday April 10 | Mountain Bike Riding in Anglesea Ride the Eumeralla trails and head to Anglesea for some fun and games on the beach. Optional swim. |
| Wednesday April 16 | Henderson Falls Walk + Beach Explore Visit Lorne beach and travel along the rainforest paths to see spectacular waterfalls. |
Epic Days (age 14-18)
| Tuesday April 15 | Surf Coast Walk + Mountain Bike Explore the Surf Coast trails on foot and on 2 wheels. Join like minded peers for a day of adventure & great company. |
Epic Holidays (age 14-18)
An opportunity for young people with a disability to experience some time away from home, building social skills and self-awareness. Epic Holidays will focus on skill development and capacity building within the group whilst experiencing mountain biking, bushwalking, kayaking, swimming and fishing! The GAS team are committed to facilitating an inclusive and comfortable environment with a supportive and safe culture amongst all participants. Our Epic Holidays trips are perfect for young people looking to develop independence, make new friendships and create memorable, positive and fun experiences outdoors.
| April 7-9 | Forrest Bike Camp Camping and mountain bike riding around the vast Forrest region. |
| July 7-9 | Snow Camp Venture into the mountains for some skiing and fun in the snow. |
| September 22-24 | Great Ocean Walk Bushwalking Camp Explore incredible scenery as you walk along the iconic trail, camping along the way. |
